Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support automotive and transportation accounts on the West Coast, proactively solving design challenges and recommending products. The role requires strong communication skills and a solid technical background in discrete semiconductors, analog ICs, and power management.

You will collaborate with marketing and engineering to define new products, prepare data for customer presentations, conduct training, and support the automotive

Qualifications

• Ability to dissect technical needs and communicate product and application suggestions.
• Proficient in MOSFET and BJT operation and DCDC topologies.
• Familiar with high-speed interfaces PCIe/HDMI/DP/MIPI/USB.
• 10+ years of design or FAE experience with BSEE.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the territory to provide customers with technical and sales support for Diodes product lines.
• Collaborate with marketing and engineering to define new products to meet customer needs and support automotive design cycles.
• Prepare data and documentation for customer product presentations and training sessions.
• Prepare territory/segment presentations for quarterly business meetings.
• Act as a technical mentor to sales channels and customer design teams.
