Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Field Sales Engineer to lead sales efforts on the West Coast. Located in the Bay area, you will work with Field Applications Engineers and Business Units to promote Amphenol interconnect products and manage key customer relationships.

You will identify opportunities, develop growth plans, and drive design wins across a global sales channel while coordinating with engineering teams for design-in success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or Engineering.
• Business/Marketing aptitude.
• Knowledge of interconnect solutions industry; lighting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales leadership and work with Field Applications Engineer and Business Units.
• Promote and sell Amphenol products with named customer and develop new prospects.
• Manage relationships with key customer and drive activity across global sales channel.
• Identify interconnect opportunities and work with customers' engineering teams to design in new products.
• Develop and implement sales plan and growth strategy.
• Meet/exceed objectives via new design wins and channel management.
