Job summary
Diodes Incorporated in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support automotive and transportation accounts on the West Coast. You will address design challenges with creative application solutions and product recommendations, working closely with customers to understand system requirements and identify new sales opportunities.

Qualifications
- BSEE with at least 10 years of design or FAE experience.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with discrete semiconductors, analog ICs, power management devices.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and sales support for company products to customers in the West Coast.
- Understand system application requirements to identify new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and engineering to define new products and advance technology solutions.
- Prepare data and documentation for customer product presentations and training sessions.
- Prepare data and documentation for territory/segment presentations at quarterly business meetings.
- Educate sales channels and customer design teams.
