Job summary
Delta Electronics Americas is a global leader in power and thermal management. We seek a Field Application Engineer to support automotive customer engineering teams in the Detroit area, focusing on design-in, validation, launch, and issue resolution for power electronics and passive components.
You will coordinate with engineering teams across regions and travel within North America as needed. You will lead technical discussions, translate customer specs into actionable requirements, review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field.
- 5+ years in design, applications, validation, or product engineering.
- Strong understanding of power electronics and component behavior.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with customer engineers across disciplines.
- Translate specifications into clear requirements for global teams.
- Recommend and support design-in of power components and sensors.
- Review selections for electrical, thermal, and manufacturability risks.
- Plan bench testing, data collection, and root-cause analysis.
- Support validation, prototypes, and product launches in NA.
