City of Omaha is seeking workers for part-time/seasonal street maintenance and related tasks. The role involves operating light single-axle trucks, performing manual labor, and following established routines under supervision.

Nature of Work: This work involves the safe and efficient operation of light single axle trucks, farm-type tractors and related automotive and construction equipment. In addition to equipment operation, incumbents are required to perform manual labor. Job assignments are given in detail or follow established routines and are reviewed by an assigned supervisor. Assignments will include lead worker duties.

Special Qualifications: Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license at time of application. Must possess and maintain a valid Class "B" or Class "A" commercial driver's license with "N" endorsement by the end of the probationary period. Must possess a 2nd Grade Hoisting and Portable Engineer's Certificate (or higher) and a flagger certification by the end of the probationary period. If assigned to Park Maintenance, Forestry, or Impound Lot divisions, must possess a forklift operator's certificate by the end of the probationary period.
Pay Range: $23.15 per hour.
