Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies seeks an EMC Test Technician to join our EMC team, supporting component and module-level EMC/EMI validation for automotive electronic systems.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of bench-level EMC testing experience in automotive, with deep fluency in ISO 11452, ISO 7637, and OEM test specs. We welcome equivalent aerospace/defense experience with OEM fluency; this is a pure individual contributor role with high ownership.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of bench-level EMC testing experience in automotive.
• Fluency in ISO 11452, ISO 7637 and OEM test specifications.
• Equivalent experience from Aerospace/Defense or IEC 61000 environments acceptable with OEM fluency path.
• Role is an individual contributor with high ownership.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate EMC test equipment for component/module testing per automotive standards.
• Execute RE/CE (CISPR 25) emissions tests and RI/BCI/PI testing per ISO 11452 series.
• Perform ESD, antenna calibration, and LISN-related tasks; document results.
