Job summary

Rivian VW Group seeks a Sr. EMC Design Engineer to develop electrical vehicle systems and ECUs. This full-time role is based in Palo Alto and involves reviewing designs, executing tests, and collaborating with engineers to ensure compliance with EMC specifications.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, a BS or MS degree, and hands-on experience with electrical hardware or test equipment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electrical hardware.
• Experience in circuit design and PCBA layout.

Responsibilities

• Review designs for compliance with EMC specs.
• Write and execute test plans for developed hardware.
• Collaborate with design engineers on ECUs.

Skills

Electrical hardware and test equipment experience

Ability to read circuit diagrams

Basic circuit component knowledge

Experience with EMI/EMC certification

Education

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering

Masters or Ph.D. in related fields
