Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Senior EMC Test Engineer to own EMC validation programs for automotive electronics. You will write test plans and issue final test reports for OEM submission, while coordinating with partners and labs to align with DVP&R requirements.

The role requires extensive automotive EMC experience and the ability to lead root cause analyses. You will serve as the primary EMC technical contact for Rivian and Volkswagen Group on assigned programs,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EMC testing and engineering in automotive, with strong industry knowledge.
• Ability to author EMC Test Plans and Test Reports with technical justification.
• Experience interfacing with OEMs and leading technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own EMC validation programs for automotive components and modules; write test plans and reports.
• Coordinate with PMs and labs to schedule milestones and ensure design changes are reflected in test scope.
• Lead root cause analysis and disposition decisions with engineering teams.
• Represent the company in OEM reviews and respond to technical questions.
