Smart Start, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.

You will work on-site Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, supporting public safety and compliance with hands-on automotive and electrical tasks. The role emphasizes customer training, phone support, and ensuring client satisfaction, while maintaining shop cleanliness, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct customer training sessions and provide phone support to ensure satisfaction.
• Make daily or weekly reminder calls to customers with upcoming appointments.
• Perform monthly inventory audits and assist nearby facilities as needed.
• Manage weekly work hours (≤ 40 hours/week) and communicate effectively with management.
• Uphold confidentiality, data security, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including vehicle-to-vehicle transfers.
