Amentum is hiring Engine Test Technicians to work at the Engine Dyno lab in Dearborn, MI. This role focuses on performing gasoline and diesel engine dynamometer tests, collecting and validating data, and supporting development and durability testing in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal, computer, oral and written skills.
• Knowledge of engines and powertrain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gasoline and diesel engine dynamometer testing and support development, durability and performance testing.
• Fabricate basic fixtures and interface with engineers on updates/test procedures, equipment and methods.
• Verify calibration and maintenance of test equipment and systems.
• Install engines on dynamometer, hook up instrumentation, diagnose problems, conduct tests, and change engine parts if necessary.
