Qualifications

• Must complete CarMax New Associate Orientation and Kronos Training for Hourly Associates.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately for record-keeping.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods; may involve nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics and complete mechanical and cosmetic repairs on all vehicle systems.
• Inspect vehicles to meet CarMax Quality Standards and complete state inspections when required.
• Manage repair orders with accurate labor, parts, and billing documentation.
• Utilize proprietary and universal software systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following CarMax 5S standards and safety protocols.
• Provide leadership and support to associates and managers across the store.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and keep the work area clean and orderly.
