Job summary

Mills Auto Group in Gastonia and Northlake (Charlotte area) is seeking an Accounting Administrator to join our automotive dealership team. This full-time role focuses on accurate accounting operations and supporting sales and finance departments in a fast-paced, growing organization.

The ideal candidate will have solid accounting knowledge, strong administration skills, and experience with CDK; prior dealership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting experience required, preferably in an automotive dealership.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles including debits and credits.
• Experience with CDK dealership management systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Post vehicle sales paperwork and verify accuracy.
• Issue trade payoffs by check or electronic transfer.
• Submit F&I product payables promptly.
• Process F&I product cancellations.
• Handle daily deposits.
• Manage deal receivables, rebates, and schedules.
• Respond to inquiries from sales and dealership teams.
• Perform routine accounting tasks and reconciliations.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive title processes.
• Assist with other admin and accounting duties as needed.
