Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a quality-focused professional to support customer-facing activities across automotive programs in the United States. This role involves direct interaction with customers, troubleshooting, and coordinating containment and corrective actions while aligning with OEM requirements and YF policies.

The candidate will participate in continuous improvement activities, handle data analysis, and ensure quality documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of direct customer contact and project management experience.
• 1-3 years of automotive industry experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites including industrial plants requiring climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Understanding of quality functions: customer service, metrology, auditing, and quality analysis techniques.
• Strong reading comprehension and mathematical/analytical skills.
• Proficient computer skills (email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform job functions in accordance with YF iOS policies, procedures, and OEM requirements.
• Report quality-related information/issues identified at customer locations to the manufacturing facility.
• Containment, sorting, and rework activities; communicate clean points as needed.
• Obtain shipping documents for parts returned to the plant for analysis.
• Support customers with troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues requiring investigation.
• Contribute to CI activities across YFAI disciplines to improve processes and reduce the cost of poor quality.
• All other duties as assigned; comply with YFAI and OEM safety policies.
