Job summary

Vaden Automotive is seeking an Automotive Customer Care Center Representative to support our Service Customer Care team in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on connecting with customers, scheduling service appointments, and enhancing the overall service experience.

Ideal candidates have prior automotive service advisor or BDC experience, strong phone and follow-up skills, and comfort with performance-based compensation. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and texts for service needs.

• Coordinate with Service Advisors and managers to confirm appointments.

About The Role

Vaden Automotive is looking for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Automotive Customer Care Center Representative to join our growing Service Customer Care team!

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, has a strong understanding of automotive service operations, and knows how to turn customer conversations into scheduled service appointments.

As a Customer Care Center Representative, you'll play an important role in supporting our dealership service departments by assisting customers with scheduling maintenance and repair appointments, following up on service needs, and helping ensure a positive customer experience.

Previous automotive Service Advisor or BDC experience is strongly preferred, as we're looking for someone who understands dealership service processes, maintenance recommendations, and the importance of keeping our service lanes busy!

What You'll Do

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and text messages related to automotive service needs
• Schedule maintenance, repair, recall, and other service appointments for our dealership service departments
• Proactively contact customers regarding recommended maintenance, declined services, and upcoming service needs
• Follow up with customers who have missed or canceled appointments to assist with rescheduling
• Help maximize service appointment opportunities while providing an excellent customer experience
• Answer general customer questions regarding dealership service offerings, maintenance schedules, and appointment availability
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Service Managers, and dealership personnel to coordinate customer appointments
• Maintain accurate customer information, appointment details, and communication records within dealership systems
• Monitor appointment confirmations and follow up to help improve appointment show rates
• Identify opportunities to bring customers back into our service departments
• Meet individual performance goals related to call activity, appointment scheduling, and customer engagement
• Handle customer concerns professionally and assist with directing customers to the appropriate dealership personnel
• Support additional customer care initiatives and departmental needs as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive Service Advisor, BDC, or dealership Customer Service experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with automotive maintenance, repair services, and dealership service department operations
• Experience scheduling service appointments and handling customer follow-up is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a proactive, results-driven mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
• Ability to build rapport with customers and confidently encourage appointment scheduling
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS), service scheduling software, or CRM platforms preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
• Comfortable working toward performance goals and commission opportunities
• High school diploma or equivalent
