The Intersect Group is seeking an Automotive Controller in Alpharetta, GA. This onsite, direct-hire role partners with executive leadership to oversee financial performance, controls, and reporting for multiple locations.

A strong dealership accounting background and strategic mindset are required to drive efficiency and growth. You will manage contracts in transit, floorplan balances, and OEM reporting while guiding month-end close and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or dealership finance leadership role.
• Automotive dealership accounting experience required (floorplan financing, Contracts in Transit, tax/title, funding, deal posting).
• Experience reviewing statements, reconciliations, schedules, and OEM reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leadership to improve financial performance and support business decisions.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting packages for accuracy.
• Monitor Contracts in Transit, floorplan balances, and cash flow drivers; ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Develop standard operating procedures and financial workflows; support month-end close and controls.
• Analyze schedules and drive process improvements; monitor working capital and KPIs.
