Job summary

Netpace Inc. in Knoxville is seeking a Controller to lead the automotive accounting function for our Jaguar Maserati Alfa Romeo dealership. You will manage budgeting, financial statements, and month-end processes across three franchise accounts.

The role requires automotive accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and leadership to drive profitability and compliance. On-site work with opportunities for professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of automotive accounting/controller experience recommended.
• Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred.
• Strong communications, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Payroll software and Microsoft Office proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial system and personnel within the dealership.
• Run the daily operations of the accounting department, cashiers and receptions.
• Design and maintain organizational structure and staffing.
• Reconcile daily bank accounts for the dealership.
• Prepare reports for the corporate office on a regular basis.
• Prepare monthly budgets and financial statements.
• Forecast quarterly financial goals to ensure profitability.
• Process insurance claims and liability insurance.
• Review financial statements with staff to fix discrepancies.
• Prepare all taxes and filing forms with government.
• Meet with managers to review business matters and plan profitability.
• Ensure HR and payroll functions are operational and assist employee issues.
• Cross-train and manage all accounting positions in-store.
