Job summary

Krause Auto Group in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Regional Automotive Dealership Controller to lead accounting for two dealership locations. You will partner with executive leadership to maximize profitability, ensure GAAP compliance, and guide finance teams across sites to deliver accurate reporting.

You'll oversee general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, month-end close, and floorplan management while driving process improvements and cross-store collaboration to support growth and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Experience across multi-store dealership operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dealership financial statements and OEM reporting.
• Experience with dealer management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations for two dealership locations (GL, AP, AR, Payroll, Month-End Close).
• Prepare GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements and surveys.
• Analyze financial performance and provide profitability recommendations.
• Present KPI results and insights to executive leadership.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
