Job summary

Lexus of Southfield is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to oversee the financial operations across three dealership locations. The role requires leadership of accounting teams, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining internal controls within a multi-store environment.

You will collaborate with dealership management and the CFO to analyze performance, forecast, and uphold compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with multi-store dealership accounting or large multi-store operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and dealership finance.
• Experience with closing processes and month-end duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations for three dealerships.
• Manage and develop dealership accounting personnel.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure accurate posting, reconciliation, and reporting of all dealership transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, payables, receivables, and floorplan activity.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure policy compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with CFO.
