Kenwood Dealer Group, Inc. in Mason, Ohio is seeking a talented Automotive Group Controller to lead our accounting teams across 16 locations.

The role supports the CFO and senior management in streamlining procedures and driving financial oversight for dealerships and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have CPA credentials, a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance (MBA a plus), and 5+ years of accounting experience, with preference for automotive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA a plus
• CPA required
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Automotive experience preferred, but not required
• Prior experience utilizing automotive accounting interfaces
• Strong policy and procedure improvement and implementations based on past performance
• Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsabilités

• Assist with and manage all corporate and dealership accounting functions for 16 locations
• Manage cash flow, inventory and work with the general ledger
• Financial analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare corporate and dealership financial statements
• Handle revenue and cost of sale recognition
• Month and year-end close
• Internal audits
• Assist with all acquisitions
• Involvement with all accounting team hiring, terminations, and restructuring of staff
• Financial-related projects as needed
