All Tune Cedar Rapids-5271 in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an experienced Automotive Center Service Writer who excels in customer service and sales. You’ll greet customers, assess service needs, present recommendations, and prepare estimates while coordinating with technicians to ensure timely, quality work.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, plus experience with a shop’s POS system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience in an automotive repair or service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of fleet accounts and aftermarket warranty companies is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid IOWA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and certification growth.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Automotive Center Service Writer serves as the key point of contact between customers and the shop team, ensuring a seamless service experience from start to finish. You’ll greet customers, assess their vehicle service needs, and present maintenance and repair recommendations in a clear, professional manner.

This role involves coordinating repair orders, maintaining communication between customers and technicians, and managing shop operations to ensure timely, high-quality service. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and skilled in both customer service and sales.

Schedule

• NO WEEKENDS!
• Full‑time position
• 7 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday
• Occasional overtime may be available
