Job summary

Private dealership in the Chicago area is seeking a top performing Billing Clerk to join their team. This is a Full-time position. A Billing Clerk processes the accounting of all vehicle purchases.

Experience in automotive dealerships is preferred. The role involves verifying deals, posting transactions in Reynolds & Reynolds DMS, and ensuring accuracy for lender packages and payoff checks. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous auto dealership Billing Clerk experience required.
• Attention to detail and strong data entry skills.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receives all deals from Sales departments.
• Verifies deal contents; prepares lender packages and payoff checks.
• Posts transactions to accounting in Reynolds & Reynolds DMS.
• Verifies posting accuracy through reports and a Finance & Insurance log.

An established, successful dealership in the Chicago area is seeking a top performing Billing Clerk to join their team. This is a Full-time position. A Billing Clerk processes the accounting of all vehicle purchases. They are among the most important employees in the business, as they play a major role in keeping the deals in order. The right candidate must have successful experience in a previous dealership as a Billing Clerk.

Responsibilities - Billing Clerk:

• Receives all deals from both the New and Pre-Owned Sales Departments
• Verifies deal contents; prepares lender packages for submission and issues payoff checks for trade-ins
• Posts all sale transactions to accounting in the dealership’s Reynolds & Reynolds DMS
• Verifies accuracy of posting through reporting systems in place and a Finance & Insurance log

Requirements - Billing Clerk:

• Previous experience required - automotive experience preferred
• Ability to analyze information, and research skills required to perform job duties
• Detail oriented and computer proficiency a must
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
