Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a busy office environment
• Automotive accounting or Dealertrack experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, open-office environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements, including a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Examine contracts to ensure all requirements are met
• Review deal jackets and verify that all paperwork complies with Pugmire guidelines
• Confirm that all required documents are signed and completed accurately
• Process paperwork accurately and within established deadlines
• Reconcile accounting schedules
• Post new and used vehicle deals to the accounting books
• Prepare lien-payoff checks and submit payments to financial institutions
• Communicate with the Office Manager to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Post necessary corrections dailyMaintain a sense of urgency when handling time-sensitive responsibilities
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Office Manager

Pugmire Ford of Cartersville is seeking an energetic, organized, and dependable Automotive Billing Clerk to join our Accounting Department. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, day shift
Pay: $18-$22 per hour, based on experience
