Job summary

Laird Noller Ford is seeking an experienced BDC Manager to lead and grow our Business Development Center. You will coach, train, and develop the BDC team while optimizing lead handling across phone, internet, and digital channels to boost showroom traffic and sales.

The ideal candidate has proven automotive BDC experience, strong CRM and lead-management knowledge, and a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive BDC experience required.
• BDC management or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive CRM systems and lead-management processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop the BDC team.
• Manage inbound and outbound phone, internet, and digital leads.
• Monitor response times, appointment-setting, show rates, and sold rates.
• Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the department.
• Review calls, texts, emails, and CRM activity for quality and consistency.
• Ensure timely and professional lead follow-up.
• Develop processes to improve engagement and appointment conversion.
• Work with sales to ensure smooth handoff from BDC to showroom.
• Recruit, train, and develop BDC employees as needed.
