Madison Honda in Madison, NJ is seeking an Automotive Service BDC Receptionist to manage inbound and outbound calls, schedule sales and service appointments, and log customer information. You will follow scripts to ensure a courteous, professional experience and drive appointment bookings.

Candidates need a high school diploma and customer-service experience; familiarity with scripts and data entry is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in telemarketing, customer service, automotive, or business development preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls according to scripts and schedule sales or service appointments.
• Make outbound calls to customers for appointment scheduling and follow-ups.
• Log customer comments and update customer information in the database.
• Schedule follow-up contacts when appointments are not made.
• Confirm and reschedule no-show appointments as needed.
• Coordinate with Sales and Service departments to track appointment results.
• Generate and send letters, postcards, and emails following predetermined timelines for follow-ups.
• Respond to website customer requests and contact internet leads via phone and email.
• Notify relevant departments when appointments are scheduled.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
• Meet or exceed monthly performance goals.
