Job Description

About The Role:

The Assistant Manager is a full-time, hourly position serving as a key holder and manager on duty. Responsibilities include managing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and assisting in achieving performance and profitability goals. The role involves communicating effectively with guests and team members, maintaining store standards, and supporting technicians.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, plus incentives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule guest appointments efficiently to optimize technician productivity.
  2. Promote sales through informing guests about products and promotions.
  3. Address guest needs and build customer relationships.
  4. Assist technicians in communicating repair needs.
  5. Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  6. Oversee inventory management.
  7. Guide and support technicians and organize workflow.
  8. Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
  9. Perform Store Manager functions as needed.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. At least two years retail experience or equivalent.
  3. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  4. Preferred ASE certification and State Inspection License.
  5. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Valid driver’s license with good MVR.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Work occurs in an automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical demands including lifting up to 75 lbs., standing, and reaching.
