Kingfisher Recruiting has been hired to find a General Manager for a well established automotive service and sales company headquartered in Harbor Beach, Michigan. This role reports to the Owner and is full-time, on-site, requiring strong cross-functional leadership.

The General Manager will oversee Production, Service, and Sales, drive profitability, manage inventory and purchasing controls, and develop systems to operate with minimal daily Owner involvement.

Formación

• Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in operations or general management.
• Strong financial literacy, including P&L, cash flow, budgets, margins, and operating metrics.
• Experience implementing accountability, SOPs, and performance standards.
• Experience improving inventory, purchasing, production, service, distribution, or order-fulfillment processes.

Responsabilidades

• Own operating performance, profitability, budgeting, and execution against annual plans.
• Lead the Production, Service, Sales, and related functions through managers and department leads.
• Develop staffing, capital, equipment, and facility plans with measurable business cases.
• Map and improve workflows across service, e-commerce, shipping, inventory, and accounting.
• Establish clear decision rights, expectations, and escalation procedures.
