Chris Crain Enterprises is seeking a dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our automotive group’s accounting team. You will review, code, and process vendor invoices, ensure proper approvals, and maintain accurate vendor records across multiple dealerships.

In this role you’ll handle high‑volume transactions, assist with month‑end closing, and collaborate with vendors and dealership staff to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices with purchase orders, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Enter invoices and accounting transactions into the dealership accounting system.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and account information.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding items.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and dealership personnel.
• Assist with month-end closing and record keeping.
