Fields Auto Group is seeking an accounting professional to join our Jacksonville dealership team. The role supports Accounts Payable/Receivable, daily cash deposits, and processing of dealer trades and title work, contributing to accurate financial records.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounting, possibly an accounting degree, and strong communication skills with a positive, outgoing demeanor to fit our team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Accounting associate or bachelor's degree a plus.
• Automotive dealership experience a plus.
• Positive attitude & very outgoing personality.
• Exceptional written & oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable processes; reconcile and prepare daily cash deposit, credit card deposit, update receivable ledger.
• Post accounts payable invoices.
• Prepare accounts payable checks.
• Research and answer all receivable and vendor inquiries.
• Assist in processing car deals.
• Process Dealer Trades by scanning to SS and making extra copy of incoming invoice for sales.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Compile and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
