Job summary

Fields Auto Group in Jacksonville, FL seeks an accountable and energetic accounting professional to join its dealership team. You will perform routine accounting functions, support AP/AR, and handle title paperwork to ensure smooth vehicle transactions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting, a related degree is a plus, and a positive, outgoing communication style. On-site role with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Automotive dealership experience a plus.
• 2+ years of experience working in accounting role.
• Accounting associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Positive attitude & very outgoing personality.
• Exceptional written & oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable processes; reconcile and prepare daily cash deposit, credit card deposit, update receivable ledger.
• Post accounts payable invoices.
• Prepare accounts payable checks.
• Research and answer all receivable and vendor inquiries.
• Assist in processing car deals.
• Process Dealer Trades by scanning to SS and making extra copy of incoming invoice for sales.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Compile and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
