Fields Auto Group is seeking an experienced accounting associate to join our dealership team in Florida. You will handle routine accounting duties, assist with AP/AR, and maintain accurate cash and invoicing records.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounting, related degree, and strong communication. Automotive dealership experience is a plus, and the team emphasizes safety, integrity, courtesy, and efficiency in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting.
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable; reconcile and prepare daily cash deposits, credit card deposits; update receivable ledger.
• Post accounts payable invoices and prepare checks.
• Research and respond to all receivable and vendor inquiries.
• Assist in processing car deals and dealer trades; scan to SS and copy incoming invoices for sales.
• Prepare tax and title documents; submit transfer work to DMV; maintain title lists.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine accounting functions
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable processes; reconcile and prepare daily cash deposit, credit card deposit, update receivable ledger
• Post accounts payable invoices
• Prepare accounts payable checks
• Research and answer all receivable and vendor inquiries
• Assist in processing car deals
• Process Dealer Trades by scanning to SS and making extra copy of incoming invoice for sales
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Compile and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.

Qualifications

• Automotive dealership experience a plus
• 2+years of experience working in accounting role
• Accounting associate or bachelor's degree a plus
