Job summary

Jobot in Vienna, VA is seeking an Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our growing finance team. You will handle accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing and supporting month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.
• Managing billing processes, creating and sending out invoices, following up on unpaid accounts, and resolving any billing issues.
• Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
• Assisting with financial audits, compliance, and tax filings.
• Providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.
• Creating and updating expense reports.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
• Interacting with customers and vendors as necessary, providing excellent customer service.
