Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Controller for a car dealership to oversee the entire accounting function, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role leads the finance team, designs internal controls, and ensures regulatory compliance while managing bonus payments and manufacturing accounting activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in senior finance roles within automotive settings, with CPA/CMA ideally, and strong mastery of SAP or Autosoft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA/CMA desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably automotive.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
• Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP, Autosoft).
• Analytical mindset with a strategic ability.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. 1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
2. 2. Directing and coordinating all financial planning and budget management functions.
3. 3. Managing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
