Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts, including bank reconciliations and supporting documentation.
  • Compile, review, and submit sales commission reports for management approval.
  • Complete and process daily ACH transactions.
  • Record, code, and reconcile incoming payments and checks.
  • Maintain and update advertising expense tracking spreadsheets.
  • Support General Managers and Department Managers with accounting and reporting requests.
  • Review accounting schedules regularly and prepare necessary journal entries.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial analysis reports for Controllers and General Managers.
  • Assist in preparing dealership financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company accounting policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.
  • Attend required company meetings and trainings.
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications Needed:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Strong background in general accounting principles and accounting processes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheet management and data analysis.
  • Experience processing ACH transactions and handling payment reconciliation functions.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and financial statements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
