Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Agile team. The role focuses on developing automated tests in Java, validating web front ends and microservices, and integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.

You will review requirements, design test cases, and participate in sprint planning. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on automated test coding experience in Java, with exposure to Selenium, Cucumber, and open-source testing tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• minimum 2 years of hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Executes test events (test plan, test scripts, schedule management, test report, test event).
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Work closely with developers, shared services team and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Drive test automation techniques and contribute to CI/CD integration.
• Develop using Java and execute automated tests on Web Front end and microservice architecture.
• Run validations at DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI levels.
• Assist with Scrum Team estimation of stories and sizing of effort for test automation and CI involvement.
• Contributes to cross-functional teamwork within Agile lifecycle.
