Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to participate in QA activities, develop automated test scripts in Java, and collaborate with developers and product managers to validate requirements across a microservice architecture.

The role involves running tests at multiple levels (UI, API, DB) and contributing to Scrum estimations and CI/CD processes within an Agile project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).
• CI/CD; Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber) and Java frameworks (Spring/ Springboot).
• Serenity and/or Cucumber experience.
• Functional, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing experience.
• REST/SOAP webservices and APIs experience.
• SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test plan, test scripts, schedule management and test reports.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Work with developers, shared services, and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Drive test automation techniques with the team.
• Develop using Java and run automated tests on Web Front end and microservices.
• Run validations at DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI levels.
• Assist with Scrum team estimation including test automation and CI involvement.
• Contribute to cross-functional teamwork in Agile lifecycle.
