Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, technical, and performance requirements. You will work with developers, product managers, and shared services to define testing components and drive test automation across a microservice architecture.

The role requires Java automation experience, familiarity with CI/CD, and experience with REST/SOAP, SQL, and Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 2 years hands-on automated test coding with Java (or development with C/C++/C#).
• Experience with CI/CD, Cucumber, Serenity, Java frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot).
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services, SQL, and testing levels from UI to API.
• Federal IT/program experience and Agile delivery familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Drive test automation techniques within the team.
• Execute tests on Web Front end and microservice architecture.
• Validate tests across DB, logging, reporting, and UI.
• Assist with Scrum team estimation and CI involvement.
• Contribute to cross-functional teamwork in Agile lifecycle.
