Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to contribute to automated testing across Web Front end and microservices. You will develop Java-based test scripts, participate in design reviews, and drive CI/CD driven automation within an Agile team.

The role requires at least two years of hands-on Java automation, experience with Serenity/Cucumber, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on automated test coding using Java.
• Experience with CI/CD and BDD (Cucumber).
• Experience with Serenity and/or Cucumber.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and APIs.
• Experience with SQL and database validations.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
• Front-end development experience with JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience in a large-scale Federal IT program.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Work with developers and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Drive test automation techniques and CI integration.
• Run validations across DB, logging, reporting, and UI layers.
• Assist with Scrum team estimation including automation effort.
