Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) in Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on designing and maintaining automated test scripts, developing test plans, and executing manual and automated testing across multiple levels.

You will collaborate with developers and government customers to resolve defects, with 2+ years of testing experience preferred. U.S. citizenship and on-site 5-day work-week are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software/systems testing experience.
• Experience running/writing automation scripts; reviewing C++ code.
• Experience using Linux systems and DOORS for requirements traceability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Write detailed test plans and test cases tied to requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing across multiple levels (static, dynamic, integration, system).
• Interface directly with government customers daily and provide feedback.
