SimVentions, Inc. seeks a Test Engineer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Dahlgren, VA. You will design and maintain automated test scripts, develop test plans, and execute both manual and automated tests while collaborating with developers and government customers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in software/testing, experience with Linux, and strong requirements traceability with excellent communication. On-site five days a week; U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software/systems testing experience or equivalent education.
• Experience writing/running automation scripts or code.
• Comfortable reviewing C++ code and working in Linux.
• Strong ability to trace requirements to test cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Write detailed test plans and cases tied to requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing across levels.
• Perform requirements traceability using DOORS and other tools.
• Identify and track defects; collaborate with developers for resolution.
