Challenge Manufacturing in Cusseta, AL is seeking an Automation Technician to support automated welding cells, troubleshoot control systems, and mentor junior technicians. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on maintenance, and PLC programming across mechanical and electrical disciplines in a fast-paced production setting.
Ideal candidates will have a strong electrical background, PLC knowledge, and relevant certifications, with experience in mechatronics and industrial maintenance to keep
Competenze
- High School Diploma or equivalent; required.
- Industrial maintenance certificate or 2-year technical degree; preferred.
- Mechatronics certificate or journeyperson card; preferred.
- Associates degree in mechatronics/controls; preferred.
- Experience with automation maintenance and PLC basics is valuable.
Mansioni
- Mentor Automation Technician I and Weld Technicians.
- Perform setup, troubleshooting and operation of automated welding cells.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment.
- Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in troubleshooting using electrical/mechanical prints.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and assist in programming robots.
