Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking an Automation Technician I to provide production support including setup, troubleshoot, and maintain automated welding cells at our Cusseta, AL plant. Mentor technicians, perform checks, follow safety protocols, and contribute to preventive maintenance.

The role requires PLC knowledge, mechatronics background, and 3+ years in automation/welding roles. On-site, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, M-F, alignment with ESOP-based employee ownership and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
