Job summary

Jabil is seeking a maintenance technician in Michigan. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment, diagnose issues, and train others on operation and maintenance. You may interpret blueprints, use diagnostic tools, and work under supervision to support manufacturing processes.

Qualified candidates have electronics or mechanics training, related experience, and basic math and tool skills. The role offers benefits and is paid hourly with a competitive range.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics (or mechanics) with emphasis in servo positioning theory or equivalent.
• HS Diploma with 2–5 years work-related experience in diagnosis/repair of electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot electro-mechanical machinery in the manufacturing process.
• Train employees in operation and maintenance of machinery.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
