Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain facility systems in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot equipment, oversee installations, and ensure safety and reliability across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building infrastructure.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong knowledge of facility maintenance practices, and proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in facility maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related technical field.
• Working knowledge of facility maintenance practices, equipment, and building systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other maintenance tracking software.
• Experience with building automation and facility management systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain facility systems, equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinate and oversee installation, relocation, modification of equipment.
• Maintain and repair facility production support systems (air compressors, air dryers, vacuum systems).
• Perform basic engineering calculations to support equipment installations and facility improvements.
• Update mechanical drawings, prints and facility documentation to reflect changes.
• Maintain and service HVAC, air conditioning and related systems per specs.
• Identify opportunities for facility and equipment improvements and propose solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for Facilities Management equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and facility systems and perform routine inspections.
• Execute preventive maintenance per PM Instructions and document work.
