Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Automation Technician in Missouri. The role focuses on high-level machine and systems troubleshooting across electricity, fluid power, and mechanical systems to support production.

The position requires 2+ years in automation or industrial maintenance, with experience in electrical controls and PLCs. Proficiency with SAP Maintenance is preferred. You will work from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with overtime and weekly pay, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 2+ years automation or industrial maintenance experience.
• Repair and troubleshooting of electrical, electrical controls, PLCs and mechanical systems required.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn SAP Maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Travel: 1–5 trips per year outside location.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high-level machines and systems.
• Assist engineering and plant staff with specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems.
• Provide technical support for all phases of operation.
