Job summary

Tyson Foods in New London, CT, seeks an experienced automation technician for 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated systems and equipment, and provide technical support across electrical, electronic, mechanical, and fluid power domains.

The role requires 4+ years of automation/industrial maintenance experience, High School or GED, proficiency with SAP Maintenance, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Travel 1–5 times/year may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of automation or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience repairing electrical/electrical controls, PLCs, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in document organization, research, and SAP Maintenance.
• Able to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Willing to travel 1–5 trips per year outside location.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support for electrical, electronic, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
• Assist with installation and modification of integrated systems.
• Support plant operations and guide team members in the supervisor's absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
