Job summary

This direct-hire role focuses on keeping equipment running safely, reliably, and at peak efficiency.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, support pre-operational testing, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve plant performance.

We are recruiting an experienced Automation Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing operation in Greenville, KY. This role is ideal for a hands‑on maintenance professional with strong electronics, automation, and troubleshooting experience who enjoys keeping production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, electrical, and automation systems in production areas.
• Support production uptime by quickly diagnosing equipment issues and completing effective repairs.
• Develop, maintain, and organize electrical and electronic schematics, prints, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Manage and execute preventative maintenance activities, ensuring scheduled work orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Schedule and support preoperational testing and equipment inspections before production start-up.
• Work closely with maintenance, operations, and production teams to improve equipment reliability and overall plant performance.
