Responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, production instructions, and Quality Control checklists for Pilot and Mass Production.
• Analyze production test logs, test results, and manufacturing procedures to identify opportunities to improve quality, yield, cost, and efficiency.
• Review existing manufacturing processes and support solutions that improve productivity, reduce costs, and strengthen product quality.
• Manage and support engineering changes, including ECNs and ECOs, while coordinating documentation, training, labor standards, and production requirements.
• Build, modify, and maintain test automation tools, scripts, fixtures, and troubleshooting support for hardware, software, Linux, and Windows-based production test issues.
• Build and document Proof of Concept products, validate manufacturability and test coverage, and support new configurations before Pilot or Mass Production release.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Union City, CA within the electronics, components, and semiconductor manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for an early-career engineering professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who enjoys hands-on production support, process improvement, test validation, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Product Engineer will support Pilot and Mass Production activities by creating SOPs, improving production processes, supporting engineering changes, troubleshooting test issues, and helping bring new product configurations into production. This is a strong opportunity to grow technical skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and exposure to Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Engineering groups.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Job Type: Direct Hire.


• Location: Union City, CA.


• Pay Range: $36.06 to $40.00 per hour.


• Salary: $75,000.00.


• For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne Technical is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
