Job summary

Amada is seeking a field service technician to support customers on Amada Automation Systems, including core machines, installation, service, and training. The role covers programming and software training, with travel within the assigned territory and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Essential candidates will have a 4‑year Electronics degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, strong problem solving across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and

Qualifications

• A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
• Ability to install, service, and train customers on equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Amada equipment at customer sites.
• Provide operational and software training to customers.
• Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Travel within assigned territories, with occasional overnight stays.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings for installs.
