Job summary

Amada is seeking a field service engineer to support customers of Amada Automation Systems in the Kentucky region. You will install, service, train users, and troubleshoot complex machinery, requiring travel within the territory and physical tasks.

Candidates should have a 4-year Electronics degree preferred, strong electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic skills, and proficiency with measurement tools like voltmeters and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electronics preferred or equivalent related work experience.
• Able to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Willing to travel within assigned territories and occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, train, and support Amada Automation Systems at customer sites.
• Complete daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Troubleshoot across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Leverage Amada applications software for line control and programming.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers.
