Job summary

Amada America, Inc. is seeking a service technician to support customers with Amada Automation Systems, including installation, service, and training. The role covers equipment setup, programming training, software training, and on-site customer support across designated territories.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, read drawings, prepare reports, and communicate in English. Travel is required and lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related 2-year degree with experience.
• Experience repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, service, and training for Amada Automation Systems.
• Travel within assigned territories and provide on-site customer support.
• Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Operate and train customers on Amada applications software and controls.
